Inauguration of AnaBio’s Centre For Encapsulation Technologies
On Monday 26th of March AnaBio Technologies celebrated the inauguration of its Centre of Excellence for Encapsulation Technologies in Carrigtwohill.
The event included a guided tour of the facility for more than 80 guests, which demonstrated AnaBio’s current portfolio of products and further showed how the new site and its high-tech laboratory facilities are being used to develop AnaBio’s cutting edge encapsulation technology.
The tour was followed by speeches from AnaBio’s Chairman Dan MacSweeney, Dr. André Brodkorb, AnaBio CEO Dr. Sinéad Bleiel and Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Mr. Michael Creed TD.
“We are delighted and very proud to open our new Centre of Excellence in Carrigtwohill which enables us to deliver state-of-the-art ingredients and technology platforms for our growing global customer base. This is the result of “Dreaming Big”. We are currently employing 25 highly qualified employees and will further extend our team with production specialists over the coming months.
The AnaBio team has worked with key equipment manufacturers, suppliers and customers to develop bespoke solutions for specialised micro-encapsulation processes. The resultant process design makes AnaBio a unique global manufacturer of innovative ingredients, which represents ground-breaking innovations for our broad customer base.
